Milestone:
More Women now work than men..Statistics Canada 2009: Women make up 70% of part-time workers while 60% of then are earning minimum wage. Unfortunately, 40% are working with little or no job security or benefits, such as pensions. The average full-time, full-year female worker still earns 71.4 cents for every $1 earned by a male in the similar position. StatsCan's Perspectives magazine shows that women made up an average of 50.6% of Canada's 14 million waged or salaried workers in 2009. That's an average of 160,000 more women than men. In the past 15 years there has been a 50% increase in the number of self-employed women in Canada and 1 million Canadian women will own a small business by 2010. The number of women-owned businesses is growing at a rate 60% faster than those run by men. What these trends are telling us is that women are making a significant impact on the economy by starting their own businesses and creating employment. The average age of a Canadian business owner is 41, a growing number of business women are over 55. Is this a milestone to celebrate? Tell me what you think??

PLAN FOR THE WORST AND HOPE FOR THE BEST! I have found many people have purchased life insurance years ago. However, our lives change from year to year, and it is important to ensure that we have enough insurance to cover our debts and leave income for our loved ones! If you have any term insurance policies more than 5 years old, chances are you are paying too much and they may no longer be the proper fit for your current situation. To sit down and review your financial situation is time well spent. As mentioned in the headline, plan for the worst and hope for the best! Free consultations are available to ensure that your insurance needs are being fulfilled with your current insurance. I would be more than pleased to help you.
